Montepulciano D’Abruzzo
“Marcuzzo”, a young red wine with great expressions.
It identifies the historical and cultural territory on the border of MARChe and AbrUZZO; Place where our company is located, precisely in Sant’Egidio alla Vibrata (TE).
This wine is produced from Montepulciano grapes, grown organically in the hamlet of Faraone, on Colle Cervinara, at 400 meters above sea level and on mainly clayey soils. It is vinified and aged in steel tanks and subsequently in the bottle.
Our fabric label was born from a working history, as our parents in the 90s dealt with textile accessories for clothing.

What we do
Biological agriculture
We grow our grapes without the use of synthetic chemical agents in the vineyards while in the wine cellar the vinification must take place with the limited use of sulphites and certified organic oenological products.
Hand picked
We harvest our grapes manually to preserve the integrity of the berry
Fermentation in steel at controlled temperatures
A correct control of the temperatures allows a slow transformation of the sugars, with an optimal development of the aromas.
Aging "sur lies"
It consists in keeping the dead yeasts, protagonists of alcoholic fermentation, in contact with the wine for a more or less prolonged time.
Bottling on the farm
it is the final phase of the wine cellar processes and from here begins, or rather continues, the evolutionary process that ends with the opening of the bottle.
